Spanischer Stierkampf

Yesterday at noon we left our cozy nest, the campsite in Manilva. Have driven 80 km away from the sea to Ronda. On the way we enjoyed the beautiful, vast and mighty landscape of mountains, rocks and partly meadows with „cacao cows“ :-), horses and sheep.

Ronda is a small town known for its special location and bullfighting. The narrow streets and the white houses in the southern style are built into the hillside. Especially the location of the old town, which is separated by a gorge from the new city. In the gorge there are gardens and spas. We had the impression of encountering nature in all its originality.

After walking through the city we were in the museum of the well-known Spanish bullfighting. Through the whole imposing area with the arena we walked and could see, how the animals are kept and prepared for the fight. On the one hand interesting and on the other hand it draws the heart together, if one sees the fight in the pictures and understands how the animals were tortured.

After the museum visit, we walked back through the city, in between shopping a bit for dinner and stayed in the parking lot in Ronda over the night. It was a beautiful, eventful day after a long break. Today it continues again. Let’s see how far we come and what we experience … 🙂 always to your heart’s content 😉 and without time pressure!
